Window Graphic Installation in Mercer Island, Washington 

American Window Film installed window graphics to an office in Mercer Island, Washington! This project is a little different than the typical case studies we write about because the building already had a window graphic installed to the glass in a conference room on one floor for privacy and decorative purposes. The business owner installed window graphics because people could see straight into the conference room and it felt like a fishbowl. Meetings and conferences weren’t private or confidential and it was becoming an issue.

The business owner noticed they were having the same problems in a conference room on a different floor, and since they were pleased with the results of the first window graphic, they wanted to get the same window graphic installed in this conference room. They wanted the same custom graphic installed to increase privacy, add a decorative design, and keep the look of the office the same on all of the different floors in the building. American Window Film didn’t do the original installation but was referred to the customer by someone who works at another building we installed custom graphics to in the past. The business owner called us up to see if we would be able to help with their project!

American Window Film's Goals

American Window Film’s goals for this project was to work with the customer to recreate the original window graphic they have in one of their conference rooms to another conference room on a different floor. Our sales representative met with the customer at the building to get exact measurements of the conference room glass they wanted the new window graphic installed to. When it comes to custom graphic projects, you don’t need to have your design created before you work with us. If you do already have your design created and you just want American Window Film to produce it, our graphics department needs the vector file to create the graphic. The customer already had their design picked out since they are using the same one from their original installation, but they didn’t have the vector file from the original installation. Since the customer didn’t have the file needed, our graphics department had to recreate the design from photos of the original installation. Once they recreated the file, they produced a proof for the customer to approve and so they could see what the window graphic was going to look like. After the customer approves the proof, we are ready to go with the installation!

Results of the Window Film Installation

American Window Film has our own graphics department that produces all of our custom graphics. Both window graphics and wall graphics are frequently installed to increase privacy, add a custom design, and brand a business, which is why this customer had window graphics installed. This installation ended up taking our installation team two hours to complete. We spoke with Bret, the sales representative who worked on this project, and asked him what his overall thoughts are on the project and how he thought it went. Bret said, “I thought the job went well and the customer was happy with the way it came out.” That’s what we like to hear!
