American Window Film installed a decorative window film to storefront glass in Lodi, California! This particular project American Window Film won off of bid on plans. Bids on plans are where a construction company sends out a bid for all of the different work they need and companies can submit their bid for their scope of work. American Window Film saw that this project included a window film portion so we submitted our bid and we won! American Window Film's Goals

American Window Film’s goals for this project were to install the spec’d window film to the storefront glass where it was needed. Once we won the project, our sales representative went onsite to confirm measurements and make sure we were all squared away for the installation!

What the Customer Chose

A decorative window film called whiteout was spec’d on the project. The customer was looking for whiteout window film to be installed on all of the storefront glass to increase privacy. They didn’t want anyone to be able to see into or out of the glass. Whiteout window film does just that. It prevents people inside from seeing out and people outside from seeing in. This decorative window film doesn’t have a harsh or extreme look to it. It is installed directly onto glass surfaces and starts providing privacy benefits immediately. In addition to increasing privacy, whiteout window film also blocks 90% of glare, 73% of heat, and 99% of ultraviolet rays. It will make your space cooler and more comfortable in addition to increased privacy. This decorative window film is ideal for office buildings and storefronts, bathrooms, doors, restaurants, retail stores, and other areas where a lack of privacy is an issue. Whiteout window film offers a lot of flexibility in the sense that it can be a temporary addition or a more permanent solution. It stays installed to glass for long periods but can also be easily removed if need be.

Results of the Window Film Installation

This installation ended up being 6 panes of whiteout window film, 70 square feet of installation, and it took 3 hours to complete.
