American Window Film installed decorative vinyl wrap to an event center in Bellevue, Washington! The event center is a high trafficked space that constantly has people coming and going. Since people host events and spend time there, the owner of the building wanted the space to be welcoming, inviting, and modern looking. With that being said, there are a lot of bare walls throughout the event center that make it seem cold and uninviting. The building owner was doing other renovations and was working with a general contractor that does a lot of work with American Window Film. When the general contractor heard the building owner was looking for a way to add design to the walls, he thought of American Window Film and talked with the building owner about window film and the flexibility you can have with it. The building owner became very interested in window film and wanted to see if it would be a good fit for the event space!

American Window Film's Goals

American Window Film’s goals for this project were to educate on the different types of window film available on the market and help try and find a solution to the problem the customer was having. Our sales representative worked closely with the general contractor on this project to try and find a window film that would work for this space. Our sales representative met the contractor on-site to take a look at the walls in question and to take measurements.

Our sales representative needed to see the walls in question to make sure we suggest an appropriate window film because not all window films can be installed on walls and the texture of the walls is really important. Our sales representative also showed general contractors different window film samples he thought might be a good fit so the contractor could work with the customer on picking the best one for the event space.

American Window Film's Suggestions

When our sales representative heard the customer was looking for a way to spruce up the walls in the event space he thought of either a decorative vinyl wrap or a custom graphic. Both options provide the customer with a lot of flexibility. The building owner isn’t looking for anything flashy or bright. He wanted to keep the space looking clean and professional, while still inviting, which both decorative vinyl wrap or custom graphics can do.

Both of these options don’t have to be flashy or colorful. There are a ton of options to choose from, some more colorful and flashy, and some more clean and professional. After talking with the general contractor and learning more about what the customer was looking for specifically, he recommended a wood grain wall film. He suggested this window film because it will adhere to the walls in the event space and give it a clean and professional look.

What the Customer Chose

The customer decided to go with the wood grain wall film and have it installed on multiple walls throughout the event space. Wood grain wall film is a type of decorative vinyl wrap. It is installed directly on the wall surface and looks like wood grain. It has a clean and decorative look that leaves the event space feeling professional, modern, and welcoming.

Results of the Window Film Installation

The building owner liked the wood grain wall film and felt it was the perfect addition to the event space and decided to have it installed to several walls throughout. This installation ended up being 1,200 square feet of decorative vinyl wrap and it took our team of installers four days to complete.
