American Window Film’s goals were to work closely with the general contractor and the superintendent to learn what the customer was looking for and make their vision come to life. To do this, our sales representative met with the general contractor on-site to learn more about the project details and what they entail. The general contractor explained that the hospital was looking for both window graphics and wall graphics to be installed throughout the hospital to create a warm and welcoming environment. They were also looking for various decorative window films to be installed to increase privacy and confidentiality in the hospital.
Since this project was based on bids on plans, American Window Film didn’t need to make any window film suggestions. The decorative window film that was to be used was already called out and the artwork for the custom graphics was already designed, American Window Film’s job was to create it.
The hospital wanted multiple windows and walls to be installed with custom graphics to make the space welcoming and inviting. The custom graphic they created was of a deer and a butterfly in nature. In addition to the custom graphics, they wanted 3M Dusted Crystal, which is a decorative window film that has a similar look to a frosted window film, installed to glass surfaces, sliding doors, and an entryway to increase privacy for the patients.
Overall, this installation ended up being 9,371 square feet of installation and took our team of installers 15 days to complete! American Window Film was really pleased with how this installation turned out. It was a large project that we executed successfully. We were able to create the vision the hospital had for the custom graphics and successfully add a decorative design to the hospital, as well as increase privacy and confidentiality. In addition to custom graphics and decorative window film, American Window Film also services solar film, anti-graffiti film, window security film, and exterior building wraps.
