For this project, American Window Film worked with a general contractor to get the work done. Our sales representative out of our Orange County location met with the general contractor at the store to learn more about the project and to get the exact dimensions of the glass in question. While onsite, the general contractor explained that the business owner wanted to fully prevent people from being able to see into or out of the storefront for privacy and confidentiality purposes. The business owner was looking for the maximum amount of privacy window film can offer.
After meeting with the general contractor and hearing more about what the business owner was looking for, our sales representative was ready to make some suggestions. Since the business owner was looking for the maximum amount of privacy, our sales representative suggested a blackout window film. Blackout window film is going to fully prevent people from being able to see into or out of the storefront glass, significantly increasing privacy and confidentiality.
The general contractor and the business owner agreed that blackout window film is the best option for this project and decided to move forward with that. When it comes to blackout window film, there is an exterior option and an interior option. The customer decided to move forward with the exterior option as to not interrupt business. Blackout window film is a type of decorative window film that is often installed for privacy purposes. American Window Film frequently sees blackout window film installed to storefront glass or areas that need to be hidden for construction purposes. Blackout window film can be a more temporary addition, meaning that it can easily be removed if need be. This is perfect for situations like hiding construction. Once the construction is over, the blackout window film can be removed. Blackout window film can also be a more permanent solution. This is perfect for situations like this customer where they want to always prevent people from seeing into the store. Regardless of what your need for blackout window film is, it’s an affordable option.
This installation ended up being 102 square feet of blackout window film and took one installer 4 hours to complete. American Window Film was pleased with the outcome of this installation because we were able to help the customer find a privacy solution for an affordable price. In addition to blackout window film and decorative window film, American Window Film also services solar film, custom graphics, anti-graffiti film, window security film, and exterior window film.
