Commercial Window Tinting in Orange, California

American Window Film did a commercial window tinting installation in Orange, California! This is a repeat customer that we did work for a few weeks back. In the original installation, the business owner was looking for a solar film that would reduce heat for the West facing windows because the offices were getting way too hot for employees. We were able to help the customer reduce heat in those office spaces with ceramic window tint. Now, the business owner is looking for more solar film for other windows in the office that get high heat, as well as a way to increase privacy in the conference room. Since we were able to successfully help the business owner reduce heat in the original scope of work, she decided to call us up again to see if we could help with the second scope of work for this building!

American Window Film's Goals

American Window Film’s goals for this project were to help the business owner find a solution to the problems he was having, just like we did the first time. To do this, our sales representative out of our Orange County office met the customer at the building to take a look at the glass in question. He started by getting accurate measurements of the windows that were causing too much heat. He then took a look at the conference room and got a better understanding of what the customer was looking for. After speaking with the business owner, our sales representative learned that first and foremost, he wanted to increase privacy in the conference room. The conference room is visible right when you walk into the room so people can easily see in and see what’s going on when they walk in. After talking about it more and hearing the different services American Window Film offers, the customer decided that he would also like their company logo installed on the conference room glass to brand their business as well as give the conference room some flavor.  

American Window Film's Suggestions:

After meeting with the business owner and getting a better understanding of what he was looking for, our sales representative was ready to make some suggestions. For the solar film portion, our sales representative suggested that the customer install the same window film that was used in the first scope of work, which was a Huper Optik ceramic window tint. He suggested that the customer goes with the ceramic window film because it solved their heat problems the first time and so the office had a uniform and cohesive feel. As for the conference room, our sales representative suggested that we install 3M Dusted Crystal and cut their logo out of it. He suggested 3M Dusted Crystal, because it’s going to increase privacy, give the office a decorative design without being distracting, and their logo can easily be cut out of it.

What the Customer Chose

After working with our sales representative and hearing what he had to say, the business owner decided to take all of his suggestions. He decided to install the same ceramic window tint because he wanted the office to all be the same and because he saw such great results with it the first time. He decided to go with the 3M Dusted Crystal because it checked off everything he was looking for, for an affordable price. 

Results of the Window Film Installation

The customer ended up installing the ceramic window tint to 4 windows throughout the office and installed the custom graphics to the conference room glass. This installation ended up being 55 total square feet of window film installed and took one of our expert installers two hours to complete. The customer was really pleased with American Window Film because we were able to help him reduce heat twice as well as increase privacy and brand their business.
