To put it simply, American Window Film’s goal for this project was to help the property manager accomplish his goal of increasing privacy while maintaining a uniform and cohesive look. To do this, our sales representative from our Orange County office met the project manager at the office to take a look at the glass in question as well as the glass that has existing window film. While onsite, he asked the property manager more questions about what he was looking for specifically to get a better understanding of the scope of work. The property manager explained that in addition to increasing privacy and maintaining a cohesive look, he was also interested in custom graphics to brand each tenant suite. While onsite, our sales representative was able to match the existing window film so we could ensure a uniform and cohesive look for the building.
After meeting with the customer, our sales representative agreed that matching the existing window film is the best option for both increased privacy and maintaining a cohesive look throughout the space. The products that we used in this installation were Llumar frosted window film, 3M Dusted Crystal, and custom cut graphics from our in-house graphics department. These different decorative window films are all going to increase privacy. Both the decorative window film and the custom graphics can easily be removed and replaced when new tenants come.
This installation ended up being 7 panes of installation, 21 square feet of removal, and 78 square feet of installation. It took one installer 4 hours to complete. Overall, American Window Film was pleased with how this installation went. We were able to successfully match the existing window film that had been installed throughout the building and install it to new glass, as well as install custom graphics for branding purposes. In addition to decorative window film and custom graphics, American Window Film also services solar film, anti-graffiti film, security film, and exterior building wraps.
